You do not need to learn HyperFrames’ internal workflow names. Pick the situation that resembles yours — each path tells you what to provide and gives you a request to copy.
First HyperFrames project? Follow Make your first video instead. It walks the whole path once, end to end. This page is the faster route when you already know what HyperFrames is.

I am starting with…

A product, website, or launch brief

Launch videos, product tours, promos, and showcases that use the real interface.

Notes, an article, or an idea

An explainer where every visual is invented from the subject, not captured from a site.

Existing talking-head footage

Captions, or designed titles and lower thirds, over footage that stays untouched.

A pull request

A feature reveal, fix explanation, or changelog built from the diff.

A short motion-first idea

Motion is the message: a title, a statistic, a chart, a logo sting, an overlay.

A music track

Lyric videos, beat-synced slideshows, and promos where the music sets the pacing.

A presentation

A navigable deck with reveals, speaker notes, branching, and presenter mode.

Something else entirely

Longer or unusual work — montages, title cards, loops, or co-designing the structure.
Working with footage? Choose by what must happen to the clip. Subtitles only, footage untouched → embedded captions. Titles, quotes, lower thirds, or side panels over untouched footage → a designed recut. Reordering speech, removing pauses, or changing the edit itself → a custom video. The captions and recuts guide covers the first two.

After you choose

Install the guidance once with npx hyperframes skills update, then start your request with /hyperframes. The agent confirms the creative direction before it builds, so correct the message, length, and format at that point — it is much cheaper than rebuilding a finished video around the wrong idea. When the first version opens, make direct visible edits in Studio, and ask the agent for anything that affects the story, several scenes, or new media. Export from Studio’s Renders panel. If something blocks you, start from the symptom in Get unstuck. Writing a stronger request is its own short guide: Give your agent a useful brief.
